Clinical Supervision & Consultation

Trauma-Informed Clinical Supervision and Consultation for Therapists Seeking Depth, Integration, and Growth

What We Offer

Melinda Meyers LPC, ATR-BC offers supervision and consultation services designed to meet you where you are and support your growth as a healer.

I offer clinical supervision in Virginia for Residents in Counseling, LMFT Residents, and Provisional ATRs. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and growth-oriented-helping you build confidence, strengthen your clinical voice, and move toward licensure with clarity and intention. Together, we focus on cultivating leadership, developing sustainable boundaries, and deepening your clinical skills so you can grow into the clinician you want to become.

Consultation is also available for clinicians interested in integrating IFS and EMDR into their work, as well as for those seeking guidance on the ethical and effective use of art materials in clinical practice, particularly if they are not formally trained in art therapy.

  • Clinical supervision is offered in Virginia for either Residents in Counseling or Provisional ATRs. Supervision is individualized to support your licensure process while deepening clinical insight, strengthening your professional voice, and fostering intentional growth.
    Investment: $100 per hour

  • Integrated supervision is available for clinicians pursuing both LPC residency and ATR-P credentials. This offering supports cohesive development across clinical and expressive modalities, allowing for a more unified and expansive approach to your work.
    Investment: $150 per hour

  • Individual consultation is available for clinicians seeking specialized support in integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS) with EMDR, as well as for those interested in incorporating art materials in thoughtful, ethical, and clinically attuned ways without formal art therapy training.
    Investment: $85–$100 per hour

  • Group supervision for residents and group consultation opportunities will be announced later this year.

Professional Background

I am a Board-Certified Clinical Supervisor in the state of Virginia and a Board-Certified Art Therapist, with over a decade of clinical experience. I have been practicing since 2015, with a career grounded in trauma-focused work across diverse settings, including military populations, correctional systems, and psychiatric hospitals. I now work exclusively as a trauma specialist, treating complex trauma. I opened my practice, Tidepool Integrative Psychotherapy LLC in 2026.

My clinical approach is trauma-informed, relational, and integrative, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and expressive modalities. I recently served as a Program Assistant with Dr. Kendhal Hart for The Integrated EMDR and IFS Model Level 1, further deepening my commitment to integrative, parts-based trauma work.

I bring a depth-oriented lens to both supervision and consultation, supporting clinicians in working with complex presentations, parts-based dynamics, and nervous system-informed care. I am particularly passionate about helping clinicians integrate IFS with EMDR and in guiding the thoughtful, ethical use of art materials in clinical practice for those without formal art therapy training.

My approach to supervision is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in developing clinical confidence, sound judgment, and an authentic professional identity.
